About – NightCapIt
NightCap is a brand dedicated to preventing drink spiking and ensuring the safety of individuals, particularly women, when they go out. The brand offers a range of innovative products and services that aim to protect against this alarming issue. NightCap was originally conceived by Shirah Benarde, who was motivated by the stories of her friends who had experienced drink spiking in college.
With a determination to find a solution, she created the first NightCap prototype by attaching cut-up pantyhose to a scrunchie. Recognizing the potential of this product, Shirah's brother, Michael, joined forces with her to bring NightCap to life. Since launching in 2019, NightCap has gained significant recognition, winning awards and being featured in various media outlets.
