Northern Illinois Justice for Our Neighbors (NIJFON) is a non-profit organization that provides free high-quality legal services to low-income immigrants in Northern Illinois. Rooted in the values of the United Methodist Church, NIJFON welcomes people of all backgrounds and faiths, aiming to build cross-cultural relationships and promote justice for immigrants. The organization offers a wide range of services to meet the needs of immigrants, including family-based petitions, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), U-Visa and T-Visa applications for victims of crimes and trafficking, removal defense, asylum and withholding of removal, Temporary Protected Status (TPS), adjustment of status, and naturalization and citizenship assistance.

They also provide support under the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), Religious Worker Visas, NACARA, and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status. At NIJFON clinics, skilled attorneys, staff, and volunteers not only offer legal services but also provide hospitality, childcare, and assistance with paperwork. Every immigrant who visits the clinic receives a free legal consultation.
