Nikodemo

Comunità Terapeutica Nikodemo is a nonprofit association based in Nichelino, near Turin, Italy, dedicated to supporting people affected by addiction. Founded as an association in 1991, it builds on a community initiative begun in 1979 and promotes solidarity, personal development, and recovery. Its residential services are for adult men with different forms of dependency, including drugs, alcohol, gambling, and sex. Each person’s circumstances are assessed individually; the community also considers applicants with mild psychiatric difficulties, those under house arrest or alternative measures, and people receiving methadone or other medication.

Nikodemo offers therapeutic pathways tailored to different needs and stages of recovery, including orientation, young adults, relapse support, personal development, transition from prison, and guided reintegration. Psychological and educational interventions are central to its work, helping residents build greater autonomy and economic independence. The organization also provides support for families, prevention activities, and educational presentations in schools. Its community-based approach combines professional guidance with a focus on shared responsibility, personal growth, and social inclusion.
