Nikolaus-Max-Stiftung is a legally constituted public-benefit foundation established in 2007 by Nikolaus Max to promote education and greater equality of opportunity. Its primary focus is supporting vocational education and training, including further training, based on the belief that solid professional qualifications can help people withstand life’s uncertainties. The foundation provides financial assistance particularly to young people who can demonstrate that they need support and cannot afford educational opportunities.
It also helps families facing hardship. Through this work, the foundation seeks to make education more accessible and reduce exclusion caused by financial disadvantage. Its activities are funded by donations, which the foundation says are used in Germany exclusively to benefit people in need.
The Nikolaus-Max-Stiftung pursues charitable and humanitarian purposes under Germany’s tax regulations and is subject to state supervision by the Government of Upper Bavaria. People interested in requesting support, donating, or asking questions can contact the foundation through its website
