About Nimbus film
Nimbus Film, established in 1993 by Birgitte Hald and Bo Ehrhardt, is a pioneering production company in Denmark. With a rich history including the Danish New Wave in the 90s and groundbreaking Dogme films, Nimbus Film has evolved into an innovative and active production house, consistently delivering multiple feature films, co-productions, and TV series annually. In 2019, our French partners, Newen, joined the Nimbus family, further strengthening our creative muscle and expanding our international network.
At Nimbus Film, we are passionate about creating fiction with meaning. We always seek new and exciting projects and talent. Our projects are born from close collaborations between producers, screenwriters, and directors.
Our aim is to produce entertaining films that also provoke thoughtful reflection. Led by CEO Birgitte Hald and partner Bo Ehrhardt, our dedicated team of producers, including Jonas Frederiksen, Live Rørnæs Hide, Jasmine Hermann Naghizadeh, Julie Carla Mortensen, Lars Sund Duus, Emilia Leonora Imperatore Bjørnvad, and Anne Hørlyck, work diligently to bring our vision to life. With over 50 feature films in our catalog, including acclaimed works like FESTEN and the TV series BROEN, Nimbus Film has established itself as a prominent player in the industry.
Our headquarters are located in B!NGS on Vesterbro, employing approximately 15-20 passionate individuals
