Ningaloo Stars

Ningaloo Stars is a Western Australian astronomy experience that brings people together to explore the night sky through science, storytelling and cultural perspectives. Based in the Ningaloo region, the organisation offers guided stargazing beneath Western Australia’s dark skies, welcoming both first-time observers and lifelong astronomy enthusiasts. Sessions include a guided laser tour of the sky, hands-on telescope viewing and time to discover seasonal planets, star clusters, nebulae and other deep-sky objects. Guests can settle in with a chair, blanket and warm drink while learning about the science and stories connected to what they see.

Ningaloo Stars offers public Astronomy Nights, as well as Stars on the Move, which brings the experience to regional communities. Its Schools, Groups and STEM programs provide curriculum-linked astronomy, practical STEM activities and tailored sessions for schools, private groups and communities. The organisation also shares visit-planning information, accessibility guidance, a gallery and astronomy resources. Ningaloo Stars encourages guests to get in touch about access needs and offers online booking for available sessions.
