About NIOSM
North Idaho Orthopedics & Sports Medicine provides patient-centered orthopedic care to the greater Sandpoint area, where it has served the community for more than 10 years. Located in Ponderay, Idaho, the practice aims to help patients return to their daily activities through care that spans initial evaluation of acute and chronic orthopedic conditions through post-treatment restoration of function.
The provider team includes orthopedic surgeons Dr. Michael DiBenedetto, Dr. Michael Schicker, and Dr. Lisa Galasso; podiatric surgeon Dr. Jonathan Fisher; and board-certified nurse practitioner Travis Taylor. The practice offers orthopedic services and supports patients with information about insurance, frequently asked questions, and new-patient paperwork.
To make care more convenient, the Medical Village is designed to reduce the need for travel. Patients can also use the online portal at any time to view lab results and upcoming appointments, pay medical bills, and access other online services. North Idaho Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and encourages patients to call to schedule an appointment.
