NISKAN PUUTARHA

Niskan Puutarha is a horticultural business located in Niskanperä, Rovaniemi, with a history of growing and selling flowers that dates back to the early 1970s. What began when Eeva Niska sold surplus summer-flower seedlings developed into a family business, later continued by her son Tarmo and his wife Marja. Today, the garden grows and sells seasonal flowers, berry plants, and other useful plants for home gardens.

Its selection includes Mother’s Day flowers and summer blooms, alongside seedlings for growing food and berries. Plants are sold directly from the nursery to private customers, housing companies, and businesses. The nursery’s four greenhouses were built between 2006 and 2018, and customers can browse them using wheelchair-accessible, one-metre-wide boarded pathways.

A customer toilet is also available on site. Niskan Puutarha emphasizes the high quality of its flowers and customer satisfaction. During the growing season, the nursery is open daily from 9 a.
