NJYHL

The New Jersey Youth Hockey League (NJYHL) is a nonprofit, Tier-II youth hockey league sanctioned by the Atlantic Amateur Hockey Association (AAHA). With 19 member associations across New Jersey, it supports hockey players and families throughout the state, placing athletes’ needs at the center of its work.

The league organizes competition across age divisions from 8U/6U through 18U, including AA divisions for 14U, 16U, and 18U. Its website provides schedules, playoff and play-in information, tie-breaker and seeding details, overtime rules, and guidance on eligibility and advancement. NJYHL also shares post-season advancement resources and a season calendar, helping participants follow league activities and key dates.

For team managers, coaches, players, and families, the site offers practical forms and support materials, including player and goalie movement forms, suspension reporting and service forms, injury reports, and spectator ejection forms. The league also publishes meeting and event announcements and connects visitors to AAHA, USA Hockey, and its playing rules guidebook.
