NKS Dressage

NKS Dressage is the equestrian training business of Nadine Kodoh-Surmann, an independent horsewoman based in Appelhülsen, near Nottuln, Germany. A qualified Pferdewirtin (professional horse manager) with extensive experience in riding and horse training, Nadine offers classical, horse-focused education tailored to each horse and rider. Her services cover the development of young horses through advanced dressage, including work toward the S* level, as well as versatile training in dressage, show jumping and cross-country. Training options include full or partial schooling, lunging and free-jumping.

For riders, NKS Dressage provides lessons for ambitious students, competition support, clinics and theory instruction, including preparation for riding certificates. A particular specialty is preparing mares for the mare performance test and managing their training. Nadine has competed nationally and internationally, worked with horses and riders at different levels, and has been self-employed since 2014. She founded her own equestrian operation in 2020 and also trains riders at her local riding club. Her approach emphasizes sensitive communication, individual care and a respectful partnership between horse and human.
