NKV Friedrichsthal

NKV Friedrichsthal, the Narrenzunft Katholischer Vereine Friedrichsthal, is a community carnival association based in Friedrichsthal, Germany. Founded from an initiative within a Catholic youth group, the club’s history dates back to 1966. Its stated spirit combines a love of carnival with social responsibility, community involvement and enjoyment for people of all ages.

The association creates entertainment for its carnival sessions, bringing together comedy, music, dance and stage performances. Its programme includes humorous speeches, lively guard dances and show acts, presented by a range of groups and performers. These include the Minigarde, Jugendgarde and Aktivengarde, as well as Tanzmariechen, Funkenmariechen, Närrische Frauen, the Barde der NKV and the Elferrat. The club also features performers appearing in the Bütt and other named acts.

NKV Friedrichsthal shares session news, event dates, galleries and publications, including its annual session booklet, and offers tickets for its carnival events. It also welcomes members and holds association activities such as meetings, training sessions, open days and a summer celebration.
