NLA Funeral

NLA Funeral Services is a funeral cover provider and funeral services organisation serving communities across Limpopo and Mpumalanga. Established in 1993, NLA offers the Achiever plan, designed to help families prepare for funeral costs with a monthly premium of R270. Standard cover includes a main member, spouse and up to 10 beneficiaries, with no age limit for covered members; the main member and spouse must be at least 18.

A 90-day waiting period applies to natural death, while accidental death is covered once the first premium is received. Benefits vary by age and include cash benefits, airtime, a casket and funeral arrangements. Services may include a funeral service, transport, family cars and hearse, flowers, printed programs, grave and home tents, chairs, refreshments and related funeral items.

Transport is limited to a 400 km radius of Tzaneen. Members can add up to four extended family members for R30 each per month. Customers can apply online or visit a branch, and NLA provides 24-hour support for funeral arrangements
