About National Law School of India Review
The National Law School of India Review (NLSIR) is India's oldest student-run law journal. It is a bi-annual publication that offers a platform for legal discourse and scholarly articles. Established in 1988 as the 'Student Advocate Journal', the NLSIR has been a pioneer in legal literature for over three decades.
In 2002, it was renamed as the 'Student Bar Review' and in 2008, it took its present name. The journal has played a crucial role in shaping legal education and has been cited multiple times by the Supreme Court of India and other influential reports. It covers critical legal issues and features articles by renowned jurists, judges, practitioners, and students.
In 2018, NLSIR launched 'NLSIR Online', an interactive forum for engaging with contemporary legal developments. With a commitment to pioneering legal scholarship and promoting accessibility to legal writing, NLSIR continues to be a prominent platform for legal discourse and knowledge exchange
