Namaa Al-Makkiyah Association for Watering and Hospitality is a nonprofit organization established in 1445 AH under decision 5452 and supervised by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture. Headquartered in Jeddah, it serves residents and visitors across the Makkah Region, including pilgrims and visitors to the Grand Mosque and the holy sites. Its mission is to lead in providing water and hospitality services while promoting sustainability and public awareness.

The association runs drinking-water projects for pilgrims, mosque visitors, residents, people supported by other charities, widows, and orphanages. Its work also includes supplying water tankers, maintaining mosque refrigerators, welcoming and farewelling pilgrims, and distributing surplus food through its “Share” food-preservation project. Other initiatives encourage responsible water use and include a digital water-service application and a sidr-tree endowment initiative.

Namaa also provides in-kind assistance to people in need and raises awareness about food waste, food security, and responsible consumption. Volunteers are central to its programs, which are delivered across Makkah’s governorates and at sites serving visitors to the Grand Mosque.
