New Mexico Angels

New Mexico Angels is an organization of angel investors focused on supporting start-up and high-growth companies in New Mexico. Since 1999, its members have invested more than $40 million in over 75 portfolio companies, concentrating on early-stage and seed businesses with high growth potential. The organization is not a venture fund and does not invest directly; it connects members with potential investment opportunities, while members make investments through the New Mexico Angels vehicle.

Its mission is to help entrepreneurs, investors, and community partners thrive by improving access to capital, quality deal flow, mentorship, and advocacy. For entrepreneurs, New Mexico Angels provides information about investment criteria, funding applications, and presentation guidelines, as well as access to investor connections and feedback. For investors, it supports membership and participation in active deals, alongside educational and community programming. The organization also hosts events, shares news and resources, and works with sponsors and partners. Through these activities, New Mexico Angels connects New Mexico companies with accredited investors and supports the region’s start-up and innovation community.
