NMCU

Norsk Motorcykkel Union (NMCU), also known as the Norwegian Motorcycle Union, is an organization serving motorcyclists in Norway. Its work includes representing motorcycle-related interests and contributing to discussions about road safety, traffic education, and transport policy. The organization submits consultation responses and policy input to public authorities; recent topics include proposed changes to traffic education regulations and funding for county roads. NMCU also shares news and information through its website, articles, the MC-bladet magazine, and member resources such as the Gnist app and a membership brochure.

Members can find motorcycle events in an activity calendar, including gatherings such as Romsdalstreffet, and connect with local NMCU branches across Norway. The site provides information about NMCU Ung, the organization’s statutes and history, and practical details on joining. It also offers an online shop and a BRO register. NMCU lists a hotel agreement with Best Western Hotels among its member-related offerings. Through its national organization, local networks, information, and activities, NMCU brings together people interested in motorcycling and supports engagement with issues affecting riders.
