The New Mexico Shooting Sports Association (NMSSA) is a statewide organization supporting firearm owners and shooting sports in New Mexico. Founded in 1935, it works to uphold Second Amendment rights through advocacy, education, and community engagement. Its mission pairs the defense of firearm ownership rights with an emphasis on safe, responsible shooting practices.
NMSSA brings together a community of shooting sports enthusiasts and offers programs and events intended to encourage responsible firearm use and preserve the traditions of the sport. The association also works to protect the rights of its members and promote awareness of the responsibilities that come with firearm ownership.
