About National Network for Safe Migration
National Network for Safe Migration (NNSM) is an umbrella organization of civil society organizations in Nepal dedicated to the field of labor migration and development. Established in 2008, NNSM aims to integrate the efforts of these organizations, especially in policy recommendations. With 32 member organizations, NNSM advocates for the rights of Nepali migrant workers and conducts capacity building activities for safer migration throughout all stages, including reintegration.
Led by Chairperson Mr. Hari Bahadur Thapa, NNSM believes in addressing migration issues through collective efforts among stakeholders, following the whole-of-society and whole-of-government approaches as envisioned by the Global Compact for Migration.
