Noah's Ark Animal Shelter, located in Gainesville, stands as a dedicated organization that addresses the issue of unwanted, abandoned, and abused animals in the area. Established under the guidance of Dr. Shelly Gomulak, Noah's Ark Animal Shelter opened its doors in February of 2006, thanks to the support of the City of Gainesville and the community's generous donations.

Noah's Ark SPCA is committed to providing compassionate care for these pets in need, serving the Cooke County region. The shelter works closely with the City of Gainesville to assist impounded animals and willingly accepts animals relinquished by local residents, requesting only a small donation in return. The ultimate goal of Noah's Ark is to find loving homes for the many healthy and affectionate animals in their care.

All adoptable animals are temperament tested, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped. In addition to adoption services, Noah's Ark collaborates with compassionate local veterinarians to offer affordable spays and neuters for low-income households. The shelter's dedication to animal welfare and responsible pet ownership extends to educational programs and community outreach.

Visit Noah's Ark Animal Shelter at 2501 N. Weaver Street, Gainesville, Texas, or call 940-665-9800. Shelter hours are from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, closed on Thursdays and Sundays.
