NOCO Infant Swim, operated by Kayla Dorwart ISR LLC, provides Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) lessons for infants and young children in Fort Collins, Windsor, Eaton, Greeley, Colorado, and surrounding areas. Led by ISR Certified Master Instructor Kayla Dorwart, the program teaches children water-survival skills through ISR’s Self-Rescue method, while helping parents understand drowning prevention and water safety.
Infant Swimming Resource is a nationally recognized system of survival swimming instruction developed through more than 55 years of research and development by Dr. Harvey Barnett. Its lessons are designed to build children’s competence, confidence, and ability to respond if they enter the water unexpectedly. ISR states that its instructors complete rigorous training, including a 10-week in-water and academic course, and undertake annual recertification.
The program’s mission is to help prevent childhood drownings, guided by the goal “Not One More Child Drowns.” NOCO Infant Swim also shares water-safety information and offers a way for families to learn more and sign up for lessons.
