No Compromise Martial Arts (NCMA) is a Christian martial arts ministry based in the Village of Livonia, offering practical, safety-focused training for students aged 10 and older. Its family-friendly dojo combines martial arts instruction with Biblical principles, emphasizing respect, humility, perseverance, self-control, and personal growth. NCMA teaches Iesu Karate Do, an eclectic self-defense style developed by Paul Lepkowski and Benjamin Nickels, drawing on Karate, Taekwondo, Jujitsu, and Hapkido.
Training prioritizes simple, practical techniques, using the minimum force needed to protect oneself or others and encouraging students to escape conflict or restrain an attacker. Classes build fitness, strength, flexibility, coordination, concentration, and confidence through conditioning, foundational techniques, forms, and self-defense practice. Weapons training, including staff techniques, is also offered several times a month.
Led by experienced instructors with backgrounds across multiple martial arts disciplines, NCMA welcomes both new and experienced practitioners. Classes meet Tuesdays and Fridays from 6:00 to 7:30 p. m.
; prospective students can try a trial class before enrolling
