About Noctula
A NOCTULA - Consultores em Ambiente, in collaboration with our technical partner Gistree, is responsible for coordinating the identification and characterization of clusters of maritime pine (Pinus pinea) forest areas that overlap with the installation areas of photovoltaic panels for a solar photovoltaic project currently under study. Forest plantation areas are characterized through observations and measurements taken in representative sample plots or points within the study area. The recorded information is then processed to produce all the necessary elements for a proper characterization of the forest area under study.
Parameters considered include measuring the diameter of all live trees at 1. 30m, assessing tree height in a selected group of model trees to determine average height and dominant height, and evaluating the tree shape and phytosanitary status.
