About Luc Petit for Les Nocturnales
Luc Petit for Les Nocturnales is an established brand that specializes in creating and producing spectacular multidisciplinary performances that bring heritage sites and buildings to life. Led by Luc Petit, an acclaimed artistic director and show director, and in partnership with Michel Teheux, a literary figure, they introduced the concept of heritage operas. Through their innovative approach, historical locations and architectural wonders become integral parts of the show, surpassing their already exceptional ambiance.
Their tribute spectacle TEXAS AGGIES GO TO WAR at the Mardasson site in Bastogne, the opening event for the bicentennial commemorations of the Battle of Waterloo with INFERNO based on a Victor Hugo poem, and the urban opera DECROCHER LA LUNE in La Louvière have garnered numerous international awards. Supported by the Walloon Region, the Federation Wallonia-Brussels, the General Tourism Office, the National Lottery, as well as partnering cities and provinces, their productions have become highlights of the holiday season. The NOËL DES CATHEDRALES tour, featuring new creations, now travels to major heritage sites in Wallonia, Brussels, and France.
In the summer of 2019, Les Nocturnales showcased the magnificent Château de Beloeil for the second edition of the enchanting DES FÉERIES DE BELOEIL, attracting over 14,000 visitors. This year, they have delighted audiences with four new shows at the Domaine de Beloeil, including Le Petit Cha.
