About Noemi Press
Noemi Press is a renowned literary arts organization that was established in 2002. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, their mission is to publish and promote the works of emerging and established authors and artists. Noemi Press is dedicated to introducing voices that may otherwise be marginalized by mainstream presses to a wider audience.
They offer a range of services and support to writers, including extensive editorial collaboration to guide and nurture authors throughout the book-making process. Noemi Press takes a daring approach by creating forward-thinking books that challenge the status quo. They also emphasize a multidirectional mentorship among their staff and leadership.
The team at Noemi Press is made up of talented individuals, including Co-Publishers Suzi F. Garcia and Anthony Cody, Executive Director Sarah Gzemski, Poetry Editor Diana Arterian, Prose Editors Emily Kiernan and John Darcy, Founder Carmen Giménez, and Founding Editor Evan Lavender-Smith. Noemi Press strives to make a significant impact on the literary landscape through its guerilla tactics, utilizing limited resources to amplify the voices of writers whose works are often deemed too much, too loud, or too different
