NOETON is a Finnish deep-tech start-up that focuses on developing affordable and efficient emission catchers for stoves and fireplaces. They are dedicated to tackling the issue of black carbon (BC) particle emissions, which have a significant impact on climate change. These emissions, generated mainly from small-scale wood burning, are responsible for three times more particle matters than road transport.
NOETON's solution, which is verified by peer-reviewed publications and dissertation research in the University of Eastern Finland, utilizes a High Temperature Electric Soot Collector (HiTESC) technology.
