About Nogne O
Nøgne Ø is Norway's largest supplier of craft beer and the first producer of sake in Europe. Committed to taste and craft beer, they are known as The Uncompromising Brewery and have a never-ending search for new flavors and ingredients. The name Nøgne Ø, meaning naked island, was inspired by Henrik Ibsen's description of the stark, barren outcroppings visible off Norway's southern coast. Their mission is to craft ales of the highest quality, personality, and individuality, using only the finest ingredients. They believe that Maris Otter, the best malt obtainable, is their gold, and they hand malt barley in the traditional manner in the UK.
