NOI Insieme

NOI Insieme per i Diabetici Insulinodipendenti is a voluntary association supporting people with type 1 diabetes and their families in Bergamo and the surrounding province. It provides a place for members to connect, share experiences and find practical support in managing life with diabetes. Its activities include family weekends, educational meetings, courses, conferences and initiatives for adolescents. The association also organizes social events that combine recreation, physical activity and opportunities to learn more about diabetes, often with guidance from medical professionals.

Education and safety are important parts of its work. Training sessions have addressed diabetes management in schools, sports and social settings, as well as nutrition, carbohydrate counting and cooking. The association collaborates with healthcare professionals and local organizations, including teams from ASST Papa Giovanni XXIII, to share information and support children and young people living with the condition. Its events also cover developments in diabetes technology, telemedicine and treatment. Through community activities, educational resources and collaboration, NOI helps members and families build knowledge, confidence and connections.
