Magyar Női Érdekérvényesítő Szövetség is an organization dedicated to advocating for women's rights and empowerment in Hungary. They work alongside the NANE Association and PATENT Association to address issues such as violence against women and domestic abuse. In August, they are hosting a professional conference titled Van jogunk a biztonsághoz! Ígéretes gyakorlatok, szakpolitikai megoldások (We have the right to security! Promising practices, policy solutions) in Budapest.

The conference aims to raise awareness about the importance of the Istanbul Convention and debunk misconceptions surrounding it. It will feature expert speakers, a panel discussion on the reality of Hungarian victims, and presentations on local initiatives to combat violence against women.
