NOISEY

Noisey Playlist Project is a music contest presented through NOISEY, with VICE involved in judging and promoting selected artists. Its Playlist Project invites creators worldwide to submit original songs inspired by moments, moods, and imagined scenarios surrounding the end of the world. Entrants choose from themed categories such as “Pretending To Be Fine,” “Running From Robots,” “Last Party On Earth,” and “Humanity, A.

D. 3026,” or interpret a category in an unexpected way. Songs may be any genre and can be rough or fully produced; professional experience is not required.

Submissions are assessed by the VICE and Noisey teams for artistic merit, creativity, composition, emotional impact, and fit with the selected category. The contest offers a stated $25,000 prize pool, including a $10,000 grand prize and $1,500 awards for category winners. Prizes also include interviews, editorial and social media features, newsletter mentions, and YouTube collaborations.

Artists retain ownership of their submitted songs, provided they have the rights to all materials used
