NOMAD architects | Riga is a young and dynamic architecture office that was established in 2019 in Riga. Our main goal is to combine exceptional design with sustainability and affordability. We are passionate about creating innovative and eco-friendly spaces that enhance the quality of life for individuals and communities.

Our team consists of talented professionals with diverse backgrounds and a strong commitment to sustainable architecture. Led by Florian Betat and Marija Katrina Dambe, both with extensive academic backgrounds in architecture and sustainable design, we have a deep understanding of the principles and practices required to create environmentally conscious buildings. As a brand, NOMAD architects | Riga actively participates in various initiatives and projects that promote climate and biodiversity emergency declarations, as well as the use of non-toxic materials in construction.

We are also proud members of the URBACT local group URGE, which focuses on circular building cities. We have been recognized for our outstanding work and have been nominated for the prestigious Latvian Architecture Award in 2020. One of our notable projects includes the Smiltenes viedrades kvartāls, where we secured the second place in an architecture competition for a library and community center in Smiltene, Latvia.
