LAND is a nonprofit arts organization dedicated to bringing innovative contemporary art to the public in Los Angeles and beyond. They believe that everyone should have access to art in their everyday lives, enriching their quality of life and perspectives on their community. Unlike traditional institutions, LAND supports artists in creating projects outside of museums and galleries, immersing them in shared public spaces and unique sites.

They achieve this through a tripartite approach. Firstly, they commission site-specific works with national and international contemporary artists. Secondly, they collaborate with universities, museums, theaters, and other institutions and organizations.

Lastly, they offer additional programs like performances, workshops, residencies, discussions, and educational opportunities. LAND's programming includes large-scale exhibitions, monographic and group exhibitions, as well as one-night performances and durational events.
