About NORA.ai
NORA. ai is the Norwegian Artificial Intelligence Research Consortium, dedicated to advancing research, education, and innovation in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and robotics. This consortium aims to foster collaboration and development of joint research projects among its partners, while also supporting the establishment of AI-focused start-up companies.
By strengthening the connections between research communities and the business sector, NORA contributes to the growth and application of AI technology in Norway. Additionally, NORA actively positions Norwegian AI research on the global stage and participates in initiatives such as Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe. The consortium provides an inclusive platform for researchers and students, hosting various events and creating meeting spaces.
NORA is proud to be a member of CLAIRE, the Confederation of laboratories for artificial intelligence research in Europe, and serves as the CLAIRE office for Norway and the Nordics. With an expanding roster of partners, NORA welcomes both public and private organizations to join its mission.
