NORAM Cup is a biennial gay and inclusive rugby tournament, described as the largest rugby union tournament of its kind in North America. Its purpose is to bring people together through rugby and support a positive, welcoming culture for athletes of all sexual orientations and gender identities. The tournament features competition across multiple divisions, including Men’s+, Women’s+, an All Trans Match, and a Legends Match, with opportunities for players at different levels.
The third NORAM Cup will take place in New Orleans from 28 to 30 May 2027, hosted by the Crescent City Rougaroux RFC. The event includes two days of rugby, alongside accommodation and travel information, social events, and guidance for participants and visitors. Matches are scheduled at Estelle Playground in Marrero, Louisiana, and the tournament provides registration information, volunteer and referee details, and frequently asked questions.
Founded in 2017, the Crescent City Rougaroux is Louisiana’s first International Gay Rugby club.
