NORA Seafood is a family-owned company founded in 2014, nestled in the picturesque fishing town of Isafjordur, Iceland. With deep roots in seafood culture dating back to the 17th century, NORA operates two processing locations totaling 1,000 m². The company specializes in a variety of seafood products, including fresh, live, smoked, and dried offerings, all sourced from the nearby fjords and fishing grounds. Each day, they produce fresh seafood from daily catches, with a unique emphasis on quality and tradition.

NORA's production processes are steeped in history; fish snacks are crafted in their seaside drying house, a practice that dates back to 870 AD. Additionally, hand-cut salmon and trout are dry cured and smoked using a traditional method that spans an impressive 80 hours. In summer, they take advantage of the long days to produce sun-dried bacalao.
