Nor Cal Fly Guides

Nor Cal Fly Guides is a Northern California fishing guide team offering expert-led, personalized adventures on the region’s rivers, lakes, streams, and coastal waters. Its guides bring more than 100 years of combined experience and welcome anglers of all skill levels, adapting each trip to clients’ needs, abilities, and goals. The company’s teaching-first approach emphasizes practical instruction, helping guests build the techniques and confidence to fish more effectively on their own, as well as enjoy time on the water.

Trips are available for fly fishing and conventional tackle, with options including float, boat or jet-boat, and walk-and-wade outings. Specialized offerings include swing trips and all-inclusive fly-fishing adventures. The team guides on waters such as the Yuba, Feather, Trinity, Lower Sacramento, and American rivers, along with coastal and other Northern California fisheries. Its guides draw on local knowledge to adjust to changing seasons, river flows, and hatches. Nor Cal Fly Guides aims to make each outing enjoyable, informative, and suited to the individual angler, whether the goal is learning new skills or exploring the region’s diverse fishing waters.
