About NCRT
Founded by six Firefighters from the San Francisco Fire Department in 2002, Northern California Rescue Training (NCRT) has become a renowned leader in technical rescue training. With almost two decades of experience, our dedicated staff offers a range of training courses to equip responders with the necessary skills for high-risk, low-frequency rescue operations. NCRT's expertise extends beyond the classroom, as we have conducted specialized training at prestigious locations such as the NASA/Ames Research Center and Disaster City at Texas A&M.
Our programs utilize field-tested techniques and hands-on courses to ensure safe and effective training. Our team of instructors comprises members from various Fire Departments across the state, as well as FEMA USAR CA Task Forces 3 and 4. We strive to provide responders with the knowledge, skills, and real-world tactics needed to handle technical rescue incidents.
