The Northern California Scouts Association (NCSA) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization formed by Major League Baseball scouts to promote baseball and support communities across Northern California and Northern Nevada. Its mission combines youth baseball outreach with charitable assistance for people experiencing hardship in the game and the wider community. NCSA activities include baseball clinics, coaching and mentoring, equipment donations, financial assistance, and fundraising events.
Contributions support program expenses and charitable donations; the association states that its board members volunteer without financial compensation or personal benefits. Its donor base includes, but is not limited to, all 30 Major League clubs. The organization also recognizes the achievements of players and scouts connected to the region and tracks MLB draft and career milestones.
