Nordcom

Nordcom Sp. z o.o. is a Polish engineering and specialist manufacturing company that has operated since 2002. It combines telecommunications and IT expertise with research in security and defence, project management, and in-house production at its facility in Kęty. The company designs and builds products for industry, public services, and military customers, and also undertakes custom projects.

Its portfolio includes lightweight all-terrain amphibious vehicles for difficult terrain and water crossings; 6DoF virtual-reality training simulators using motion capture; specialist manufacturing such as military equipment, decontamination systems, and precision climate-control cabinets; and vehicle charging stations rated up to 50 kW, with IT-system and energy-storage integration. Nordcom also develops indoor location systems for people and equipment using IoT, mesh networking, and Bluetooth Low Energy communication.

The company’s research and development work includes threat-prevention systems, real-time data transmission for Poland’s Border Guard, and training systems for mining developed with KGHM. Nordcom works with commercial and public-sector clients and responds to project and tender enquiries.
