Nordenfjeldske Fuglehundklub (NFK) is a club for owners and enthusiasts of pointing bird dogs, bringing members together to share experiences, develop their dogs and take part in activities. Based in the Trondheim area, the club offers a varied programme that includes training sessions at Ekra dog hall, access to the Ekra exercise park, sheep-aversion training and Vassfjell training. Members can also participate in field and forest trials, winter and retrieving trials, and the Sølvhund exhibition.

The club hosts the Sølvhundprøven and events associated with Norwegian highland championships, alongside other competitions and gatherings. NFK provides information about its annual schedule, events, results, rules and club history, and has a youth group for younger members. It also sells club merchandise and works with sponsors and partners.

Members are encouraged to contribute stories and memorable moments for publication on the club’s website. Through its activities and events, NFK supports a community built around pointing bird dogs and shared outdoor experiences
