Norder Stadtgeschichte is an independent, free online encyclopedia dedicated to the history of Norden, an East Frisian city, and its people, buildings, streets, and surrounding places. Founded on November 10, 2020, the project uses principles similar to Wikipedia but also aims to uncover new historical knowledge, presenting detailed articles across a broad range of subjects. Its collection includes thousands of articles, photographs, portraits, and historical documents, with more than 12,500 search terms covering local landmarks, events, organizations, and residents.

Visitors can explore city chronologies, historical events, biographies, and extensive lists of buildings, streets, schools, churches, mills, and other local sites. The site also highlights selected articles and notable people, and provides an interactive map. Norder Stadtgeschichte welcomes community participation: prospective contributors can apply for an account, while people with photographs, documents, or questions can contact the project. Financial donations help cover website operations and research materials. The site also recommends books about Norden, available through online retailers and locally at Meerzeit in Norden.
