Nordic Design is a craft-focused shop based in Mjölby, Sweden, offering materials and inspiration for knitting, weaving, sewing and other creative projects. The brand carefully selects Nordic yarns, with a particular focus on wool whose origin can be traced. Its range includes yarn from suppliers such as Rauma, Sandnes and Ístex, in various fibres and weights, alongside knitting patterns with a Nordic style. Most patterns are in Norwegian, and the shop notes that they are also straightforward for Swedish knitters to follow.
Customers can also find craft kits, home textiles, knitted products, woven bands, hobbyhorse patterns and gifts. Nordic Design creates its own 3D-printed accessories and storage solutions for activities including band weaving and sewing, as well as products compatible with IKEA Skådis. The shop supports makers with practical resources such as knitting calculators, personal service and a monthly free pattern. It combines traditional and historical craftsmanship with thoughtfully chosen materials and useful tools, helping customers find supplies and ideas for their next handmade project.
