Nordic Academy

Nordic Academy is a professional cross-country skiing school with a tradition dating back to 2007. It offers instruction for children and adults, helping beginners and more experienced skiers develop sound technique through clear guidance and practical coaching. Courses cover both classic and skating styles and include one-day, weekend, children’s, and international options, as well as lessons tailored to individual needs. The school’s published courses include sessions in Harrachov and training trips to Ramsau am Dachstein.

A key feature of Nordic Academy’s approach is teaching in small groups, typically four to six participants per instructor, so learners can receive individual attention. Weekend courses include two specialist presentations, and instruction spans fundamental skills through more advanced elements. The school also helps participants choose suitable equipment, explains how to maintain it, and teaches professional ski servicing as part of the course. Longer courses offer practical guidance on what equipment is worth buying and what may be unnecessary, alongside insights drawn from experience around ski racing.
