Nordic Hoof Care is a Danish equine hoof-care business serving horses and their owners across much of Zealand. The company focuses on barefoot hoof trimming and ongoing maintenance, with care tailored to each horse’s history, workload and needs. Its services include professional trimming, boot fitting, consultations about barefoot care and glue-on shoes, and glue-on shoeing for horses with particular challenges or rehabilitation needs. Owners can also take courses to learn hoof trimming and how to apply glue-on shoes, while the online shop offers products for hoof care.
Nordic Hoof Care describes its approach as calm, knowledge-based and planned. It establishes regular trimming schedules, documents progress and adjusts care over time, collaborating with veterinarians and other professionals when needed. The business reports more than nine years of professional experience, over 10,000 hooves treated and five mentor-trained trimmers. Founded by Tabita Svane Espensen, Nordic Hoof Care is supported by a team of trained trimmers committed to continued professional development and horse wellbeing.
