The Nordic Nutrition Council (NNC), which has recently merged with the Riksföreningen för Metabol Hälsa (RMH) to form the Nordic Association for Natural Nutrition and Metabolic Health (NNMH), is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting public health through evidence-based nutrition knowledge. Established with the goal of advancing understanding of the impact of nutrients on health, NNC advocates for individual rights to information and choice in personal health matters.
NNC is actively involved in various initiatives aimed at enhancing dietary awareness and improving societal health outcomes. This includes challenging regulations on nutrient limits in supplements, disseminating research on nutrition, and collaborating with other organizations to foster a broader understanding of health issues. The council's work emphasizes access to essential nutrients and natural health products, supporting community empowerment to take responsibility for health and well-being. Through press releases, newsletters, and social media, NNC strives to keep the public informed and engaged in the health discourse across the Nordic region.
