About Nordmørsmusea
Welcome to Nordmørsmusea, the regional museum for the cultural heritage of Nordmøre. With our headquarters in Kristiansund and local museums in eight municipalities, we are part of the national museum network. Our collections encompass both cultural and natural history.
Exciting news is on the horizon as Nordmørsmusea will be moving into the state-of-the-art Normoria cultural center in Kristiansund in the summer of 2025, alongside the Kristiansund Opera, Kristiansund Library, and Kristiansund Cultural School. This new location will provide us with enhanced development opportunities and interdisciplinary cultural collaborations for the benefit of our visitors. Explore our various offerings, including temporary and online exhibitions, educational programs for all age groups, research resources, and opportunities for volunteering.
