Nordost is a US-based manufacturer of high-fidelity audio cables and accessories, with more than 30 years of experience serving the consumer electronics industry. Its products are designed for a wide range of systems and budgets, from personal and two-channel setups to vinyl and digital audio. Nordost’s cable families include Leif, Norse, Reference (Valhalla), and Supreme Reference (Odin), alongside QRT and Sort Systems products.
The range covers power cords, speaker cables, analog and digital interconnects, tonearm and subwoofer cables, USB and Ethernet cables, bi-wire jumpers, video and high-definition cables, and specialty cables. The company also offers audio enhancers, resonance-control devices, and accessories. Nordost describes its design approach as focused on low-mass construction, fast signal transfer, and impedance matching. Its technologies include Mono-Filament insulation, flat speaker-cable geometry, mechanically tuned cable lengths, HOLO:PLUG connectors, and shielding on Supreme Reference models.
