About BlueNord ASA
BlueNord, formerly known as Norwegian Energy Company ASA (Noreco), is an Oslo Stock Exchange listed oil and gas company specializing in the production and development of resources that support the transition towards Net Zero. With a strategic focus on the North Sea, BlueNord is the second-largest oil and gas producer in Denmark. The company operates in the Danish North Sea with a non-operated interest in the Danish Underground Consortium (DUC), which holds 15 fields with a production history of over 50 years.
BlueNord's share of production from the operational hubs was 26,700 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d) in 2022, and it is set to more than double to over 55,000 boe/d with the redevelopment of the Tyra field in 2023-24. This redevelopment will also decrease field emissions by 30 percent and unlock reserves of over 200 million barrels of oil equivalent.
