The Cosmopolitan Club of Norfolk, chartered in 1924, is a distinguished civic organization committed to enriching the Norfolk community through charitable initiatives and fundraising. The club actively supports several local charities, focusing on critical causes such as diabetes research and management. One of its key projects includes the Strelitz Diabetes Research Center, established with the help of a “Million Dollar Connection” to advance diabetes treatment and research at Eastern Virginia Medical School.

Members of the Cosmopolitan Club engage in various activities that foster community involvement while promoting awareness about diabetes and related health issues. The club encourages philanthropic contributions, offering potential donors the chance to support its various causes through one-time or recurring donations. By joining the Cosmopolitan Club, members not only support local charities but also participate in enriching events and programs that strengthen community ties and address pressing social challenges. Engaging with the club means being part of a heartfelt mission to support and uplift the local community in profound ways.
