Norfolk Organic Group

Norfolk Organic Group is a registered charity that promotes organic growing and sustainable use of resources across Norfolk. Its work is guided by the connection between people, food and soil, and by the principle that healthy soil supports healthy plants and people. The group encourages individuals and communities to grow organically and offers opportunities to learn, take part and connect with others who share an interest in the organic movement.

Throughout the year, Norfolk Organic Group hosts informative events, talks and open days, welcoming everyone to attend. Its programme includes discussions on food sustainability and England’s Organic Action Plan, as well as an annual online talk by group president Bob Flowerdew, a long-time advocate of organic gardening. The group also takes part in community events, sharing its enthusiasm for organic seeds and gardening, and highlights activities at local orchards and community gardens. Through these events and connections, Norfolk Organic Group helps people explore practical approaches to organic growing and sustainable living.
