The Norge Ski Club, established in 1905, proudly holds the title of the oldest continuously operating ski club in the United States. Founded by a group of Norwegian immigrants in Fox River Grove, Illinois, the club originally attracted ski jumpers from Chicago, who built charming cottages on-site to enhance their skiing experience. Over the years, the club has welcomed members from diverse backgrounds, creating a vibrant community dedicated to the thrill of ski jumping.

With a mission to prepare athletes for Olympic-level competition, Norge Ski Club focuses on promoting skiing and fostering amateur athleticism. The club offers training programs for all skill levels, encouraging participants to engage in local, national, and international competitions. Members can enjoy various activities, including meetings and tournaments, while also taking advantage of the club’s facilities, such as the rental towers and clubhouse.

The Norge Ski Club is committed to promoting good sportsmanship and providing an educational platform for all skiing enthusiasts. Join their community and experience the passion for ski jumping!
